Singing Fingers lets you fingerpaint with sound. Just touch the screen while you make a sound, and colorful paint appears. Touch the paint to play back the sound again!
You can paint your own musical instrument and play it, play with your voice, experiment with sounds, or create whatever else you can imagine.

do u know what u have to say in the app? well u must do this: u say SA and then u have to make it go backwards! ITS SOOO FUNNY
Some bad moments
Unfortunately, all I get is a blank page. There are icons at the top, but when you try to smear your finger across the screen nothing happens. Yes my microphone access is turned on. Bummer, I had high hopes for this app.
It is really fun! Plus its free so why wouldnt you want it? If I were you I would definitely get this app. Its really cool!
What a creative, fun and clever app. Perhaps the most original way of funneling musical, visual and physical creativity into a single activity that Ive seen. Id give 6 stars if I could.
Saw this in the NYT and grabbed it right away. Great synthesis of sound, color and form. You can imbed messages in a picture, or make and play your own instrument, all on your screen. Who knew Synesthesia could be fun? Now... what smells purple?
Interesting and fun concept...Lots of fun playing back various sounds.
Sound seems to echo a bit on playback. Make sure you completely quit out of the app when done in iOS 4 w/ multitasking...otherwise your battery will be drained.
Its ok and its fun but it doesnt really record the exact sound so it sound kind of like a walrus getting run over by a car
